Paul's obituary
Paul Michael Fregosi, a beloved resident of Burlingame, CA, passed away at home on November 3, 2023, at the young age of 34 due to a pulmonary embolism. Paul was born in Palo Alto, CA on July 3, 1989. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, intellect, and humor that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Paul attended Washington Elementary School, Burlingame Intermediate School, and Burlingame High School, where he not only shined academically but also on the baseball field. He continued his pursuit of knowledge and passion for construction engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Paul went on to have a successful career as a construction manager, leaving his mark on the industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, Paul had a deep love for life's simple joys. He was a long-time member of a Burlingame softball team, a passionate fisherman, a fan of the San Francisco Giants, Warriors and 49ers, and a talented chef, best known for his skills on the grill. Paul also had a love for the mountains and enjoyed skiing in Tahoe. He had an incredible memory of world history and hilarious movie lines. Above all else, he valued his time with friends and being an integral part of his large and loving family.
Paul's wit and unique sense of humor were unparalleled, bringing laughter and light to the lives of everyone he encountered. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Paul is survived by his loving parents, James and Lani, his brother Eric (Kelly), his sister Natalie (Conner Huff), and his cherished nephew, Louis. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jim and Carrie Fregosi, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins who adored him immensely.
A celebration of Paul's life will be scheduled after the holidays, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and the impact he made on all of our lives. Paul's memory will live on in our hearts, a testament to the wonderful person he was.
