Paul's obituary
Paul Ernest DeMange of Pleasant Hill, CA went to Heaven on August 15, 2022 at the age of 69.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul A and Evelyn DeMange of Lafayette, CA; and his older twin brother, Peter DeMange of Santa Rosa, CA.
Paul was born in New York City in 1953 and came to the Bay Area as a teenager. He graduated from SFSU with a degree in Social Work, and worked for Independent Living Resource (ILR) Center in Concord. The family will remember him as fiercely independent, a master at debates, an eloquent speaker, snazzy dresser, wonderful tinkerer, excellent guitar player, enthusiastic lover of music, and an artist at heart.
Paul is survived by his sister, Mary Demange, and her spouse, Robbie Rohr; his son and wife, Paul P. and Alma DeMange; 3 grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild; his sister-in-law and niece, Fe and Jasmine De Mange; his nephew and wife David and Tammi De Mange; and 1 grand-nephew.
A celebration of life will take place at noon on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall in Pleasant Hill, CA, with a reception to follow.
