Paul's obituary

Paul E. Daigneault, age 78, passed away peacefully after a long illness.  He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Marshburn along with his sons, Paul and Richard Daigneault, his daughter, Linda Daigneault and her two sons, Steven and Richard Brunelle and his granddaughter, Renee and her daughter Vera Daigneault.   Sadly, his second oldest son, Michael, passed away on March 20th, 2022 after battling cancer.  He is also survived by his 4 stepdaughters, Toni, Tasheme, Cheri and Tonderai as well as his sister, Marcelle Daigneault Ciampa and his 3 half brothers, Fred and Ed Daigneault and Chris McNeill.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, Edmond and Madeleine (Cossette) Daigneault, and two of his brothers, Robert and Daniel Daigneault.

Paul was a kind, caring and loving man and though he regretted mistakes he had made in his early adult life, he learned from those mistakes and worked hard to be the best version of himself he could be.  He courageously battled several illnesses during his later adult years and his faith, along with his loving wife, helped him through some difficult days.  He enjoyed any activity that he and Carolyn did together.  He enjoyed celebrating special holidays with family.

Paul was born in Lowell, MA on May 29th, 1943.  He was a long term resident of Lowell until he moved to Tampa, Florida in 2009 and then to Strongville, OH in 2018.  In his early years, Paul worked at Digital Equipment Corporation.  Later he worked as a security guard at UMass Lowell and then worked as a janitor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Lowell Courthouse.

A virtual memorial service, celebrating Paul's life will be held on Thursday July 14th at 7 pm EST.    We welcome your participation and warm memories.  Donations to help support Paul's widow, Carolyn, who is not eligible to receive Paul's monthly state pension, are greatly appreciated and can be made through this website.
