Paul Bradley Briggs, 58, passed away on January 3, 2026. He was a longtime resident of Pe Ell, Washington, where he built a life with his family.
Paul was the beloved husband of Teresa (Merrill) Briggs and father to Marcus (Amber) Briggs, Megan (Trenton) Hall, Amanda Briggs, Samantha Briggs, and Nessa Briggs (Riley). He was a proud grandfather to Gracelyn, Piper, Sterling, Leliana, Amelia, and Jasper, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his younger brother, Dave Briggs, and younger sister, Pam Briggs. Proceeded in death by his mother and father, Lew and Diane Briggs of Onalaska.
Paul dedicated over 10 years of his career to Les Schwab, where he worked in sales and service, building strong relationships with coworkers and customers alike. Outside of work, Paul found his greatest happiness in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, spending countless hours along the Cowlitz River and helping a friend with guided fishing trips. Some of his favorite fishing spots included the Green River, Willapa River, Toledo Pond, and the ocean waters out of Westport.
Paul had a special passion for sharing his love of fishing with his family and friends creating memories on the water. He also crafted fishing sinkers by melting lead, supplying them to charter boats in Westport—another way he stayed connected to the fishing community he loved so much.
In addition to his outdoor pursuits, Paul enjoyed playing online games and connecting with others on social media, forming friendships that extended far beyond his hometown. He was well known for his annual 4th of July BBQ, where friends and family would come and go throughout the day, sharing food, laughter, and good company—a true reflection of his welcoming spirit.
Paul will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, and the joy he found in bringing people together.
A service to honor and celebrate Paul’s life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at The Loft in Chehalis, Washington.
