Paul's obituary
Paul Armstrong (Senior), forever 53, of Florida, born in New York, passed away on October 20, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with addiction.
Paul’s life was defined by love, faith, and perseverance. He had a remarkable ability to make every person he met feel seen, valued, and supported — no two encounters with him were ever the same. His presence left an individualized mark on hearts everywhere.
Grounded in unshakable faith, Paul’s life was guided by a deep passion for ministry and the calling that defined his life’s purpose—to help others find redemption and hope. He walked beside others through both struggle and renewal, offering friendship, mentorship, and understanding born from his own experiences. Through his honesty, compassion, and faith, Paul made a profound and lasting impact on the recovery community and on every life he touched.
Paul was known for his incredible work ethic, fortitude, and unvanquished faith. While he may not have always been able to give an abundance of time, he gave something rarer — quality. When he showed up, he was fully present.
He carried immense pain from the loss of his former wife, daughter, and parents, yet he continued to love fiercely and give selflessly.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul Armstrong and Danielle Armstrong; his beloved grandchildren, Liam and Cristina Armstrong; his sister, Michelle Dunham, and her two children; and his uncle, aunt, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Maria Ward, the mother of his only son; his daughter, Cristina Armstrong; and his parents, Raymond and Joanne Armstrong.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by extending grace, compassion, and understanding to those who are fighting their own battles — just as Paul always did.
After a life of perseverance and faith, Paul has finally gone home — to Heaven, where peace, love, and reunion await.
