Paul's obituary

Paul Armstrong Davis, 72, of Coon Rapids, Iowa, passed away on March 11, 2024. He was born on December 6, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Paul was a truck driver for various companies, specializing in the transportation of gasoline and agricultural products. Outside of work, he found joy in reading and watching science fiction, listening to music, cooking, practicing yoga, and hiking. His storytelling abilities captivated those around him. Paul had a true gift for philosophy and encouraged deep, profound conversations by those in his company.

He was described as quiet, peaceful, and imaginative, with a passion for science fiction, spirituality, and technology. Paul loved telling stories of his time as a yogi master and his experiences within the Sihk tradition. He believed that the universe was the provider of all things, and had hoped to transcend this life into another higher plane of existence. Paul will be best known for his cheerful spirit, generosity, curiosity for the unknown, and fondness for 70's psychedelic rock-n-roll.

Paul is survived by his sister, Sharon Davis; his children, Wynne Davis, Wyatt Davis, and Paige Parsons; and his grandchildren, Tiernan, Myles, and Liam Parsons. He was preceded in death by his father, Squire Davis, and his mother, Lorraine (Christianson) Davis.

Services will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, located at 14955 Somerset Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503 on Saturday, March 16th at 11am. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, Iowa, is assisting with the arrangements. Paul's ashes will be laid to rest at the Old Carrollton Cemetary in Carroll County, Io
