Paul Peterson, 70, of Santa Maria, CA, was born into eternity on February 9, 2024 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Paul was born into this life on November 9, 1953 to George and Ethel Peterson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from James Madison High School in 1971, he went on to study Plastic Injection Molding at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He followed his parents and younger sisters to Santa Barbara in the summer of 1979, and spent his remaining years in Santa Barbara County.

Paul loved to understand how things worked and was forever a tinkerer, both at work and at home. He never shied away from a project, whether it was wiring the living room for a surround sound system or learning a new software to design parts for hard drives at work. Paul was also a dedicated cheesehead, spending many Sundays (and Monday and Thursday evenings) cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers while simultaneously streaming any other NFL games he could find on TV or radio.

Paul is preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie, and grandson, Noah. He is survived by wife, Leigh Anne; siblings Bruce (Nancy), Dale (Linda), Mary (Steven) Isbell, and Annie (Brian) Montgomery; children David (Stephanie), Teryn Thomason, Ian, Benjamin, and Robynne (Sean) Madigan; and grandchildren Lauryn, Jacob, Emma, Matthew, Benjamin, Aidan, Deklahn, Chloe, and Anneli.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 26 at Pacific Christian Center, 3435 Santa Maria Way, Santa Maria, CA.
