Paul Henri Achille was born October 23rd, 1947 in Gonaives, Haiti to Anivin Achille and Louise Marie (Albin) Achille. He grew up wanting to work in healthcare and was close to his older brother Charles Achille. Once he reached adulthood he attended and graduated from medical school. He enjoyed learning about the human body and the mind completing a residency in internal medicine followed by a residency in psychiatry. Eventually he moved from Haiti to Montreal, Canada to join his family that had immigrated. With time he was able to establish his permanent home in Queens, NY. He married his wife Lesida Figaro Achille and had two children Brenda Lee Achille and Bryant Alexander Achille. He was able to watch his children grow as he worked as a respiratory therapist at Maimonides Medical Center until his retirement in 2012. Paul leaves to mourn his wife Lesida Achille. His children Bryant Achille and Brenda (Antionne) Gartrell. His grandson Adonis Gartrell. His niece Charlene Achille Theodore and nephews Carl Achille and Stanley Achille in addition to friends, family and loved ones.
