Patty's obituary
Patty Lou Pollard, 78, of Caldwell Idaho, passed away on Thursday, January 4th, 2024, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Patty was born October 20th, 1945, in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of the late James C Bean and the late Verle L Smith.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike Decker (wife Marisa), of Meridian, ID and Shane Pollard (wife Jennifer) of Caldwell, ID; a brother, Jack Bean (wife Brenda) of Liliburn, GA; two grandchildren, Cooper, and Allison Pollard. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Pollard Jr, her son Wayne Decker, and her brother Jimmy Bean.
Patty was a simple woman, but deep and complex at the same time. Patty was sweet, kind, quirky, funny, the consummate protector, and an angel on earth. Patty was a fierce hard worker which was the byproduct of being the granddaughter of farmers. We were all in awe of the grace, loyalty, and strength that she showed throughout her life. Patty worked in the restaurant management and food hospitality business for 40 years of her life. Patty loved cooking, sewing, knitting, gardening, canning, crossword puzzles, camping, spending time with her friends and family, and having a full house full of hustle and bustle. We are all going to miss her sweet laugh, her ornery chuckles, and her warm loving hugs. We all hope and wish that she is finally free to play and laugh like the kid at heart she was, with no shackles or bonds to hold her back. Patty truly was one of a kind and will be missed dearly.
