Patryce's obituary

Patryce L. McGinnis, age 48, passed away on October 31st, 2021, in Roanoke Virginia.  She was born on November 21st, 1972 in Granada Hills, California to Patrick McGinnis and Laura (Mijares) Mollett. Patryce is survived by her parents, her sister Autumn Steele, brothers Michael and Brock Mollett and her daughters, Domyno, Alexis, and Taylor; Her granddaughters, Aurora and Maria, Lacie andd grandson, Jaxson. Patryce is also survived by many aunts and uncles, neices, nephews and too many cousins to count. Patryce is in heaven with her grandparents, Robert and Dolores Mijares. Patryce always held a special love for her grandmother, she loved her so very much.
Patryce grew up in California until the age of 18, when she moved to Deleware to live with her Grandparents Robert and Dolores Mijares. After a while, they moved back to California but Patryce wanted to stay in Deleware. After having the girls, she ended up in Virginia. Patryce went through some rough times and hard situations through many of her years. Moving forward, Patryce learned she was very sick. She had some kind of lung disease but she was too scared to go through with a risky procedure to find out her exact diagnosis. She assumed if was from her long history of drug use and thought she brought it on by herself. It was later found that she may have had a genetic lung disease and wasnt her drug use after all.  Patryce worked hard to stay clean and sober and started re-kindling her relationships with her girls.
Patryce loved with all her heart and she always made sure you knew she loved you.
She would always get excited just to hear your voice on the other end of the phone. She loved her 3 children with all she had and wanted nothing more than to have a healthy relationship with each of them. It was hard for her, but she was beyond the moon whenever she heard from one of them or saw them on facetime. She loved her granddaughters with every ounce of her heart. We know that Patryce loved the Lord and is in heaven with her King. She no longer suffers, physically nor emotionally.
We miss her so much, until we meet again, you are forever in our hearts.
For it is by Grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.......Ephesians 2:8-9
