Patrick Wayne “Pat” Douglas, 63, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away from this life on December 24, 2020. Pat was the third-born son of the late Russell Sanders “Sandy” Douglas and Ida Louise Eidson. He was born in Nashville, TN on November 21, 1957, and grew up in Madison, TN. At the time of his passing, Pat was employed by the Adventure Science Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and had worked many years for The Parent Company. He married the former Laura Ann Person, and they shared many happy years, travels, and memories together. Pat was always interested in traveling and taking road trips to explore beaches, national parks, and state parks. In addition to traveling, Pat enjoyed bird watching, fishing, camping, climbing, bicycling, waterfalls, hiking, going to the beach, renovating the house, watching football, reading extensively, and loving on his puppies, Mattie and Lola. He enjoyed spending time both with his family and in quiet solitude. Pat was a great conversationalist, good listener, and gave good advice, when asked. He was intelligent, well read on many different subjects, interesting, funny, sweet, loving, quirky, and was so completely loved by those in his life. He touched so many lives during his life and will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.
Survivors include wife Laura Person Douglas, children Christopher (Angela) Carney, Rachel (Mike) Hutnik, Sean (Tiffany) Carney, granddaughters Briana Carney and Isabelle Carney, brothers Rusty Douglas and Greg Douglas, nephews Tyler Douglas and Sutton Mitchell, nieces Mackenzie Douglas, Peyton Douglas, Brynlee Douglas, Sandy Douglas, and Leslie Mitchell and beloved Goddaughter Kendall (Nikko) Lane and their sons Benedict and Ambrose Lane. Pat was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis Douglas.
