Patrick's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patrick Robin Wasson. Born on August 27, 1988, Patrick left us far too early on August 23, 2024. This man of substance, known for his hardworking nature, warm personality, godliness, and genuine humor, will be missed by all who had the chance to know him.
Patrick was a faithful attendee of the Fellowship Baptist Church and was also a regular at League Bowling. He was an Electrician by profession and a family man by heart. He had several accomplishments to his name, most notably being an accomplished bowler with at least four perfect score games, and taking first place in Lighthouse's chili cook-off. Patrick believed in everyday acts of kindness and wanted to share God’s teachings with others.
Patrick is predeceased by his father, Robin Wasson, his grandmother, Bernice Madison, his grandfather Robert Madison, his grandmother, Jacqueline Wasson grandfather William "Bud" Wasson, and his aunt Kim Wasson. He leaves behind his beloved spouse Lynsey Wasson, whom he met in 2018, and married in 2022. He is also survived by his bonus children Allison Arbeene , Braydyn Buraczeski and Blaine Harris and their four legged child Nellie.
Patrick’s loving mother, Michele Wasson, remains to treasure his memories, along with his sisters, Brandi Janiak (Dave Janiak), Danielle Wasson (Jesse Wheeler), Samantha Wasson (TJ Smallwood) and Kathleen Wasson (Clifton Clark). His nephews Kaden Janiak, Jackson Janiak, Owen Janiak, Elijah Smallwood and his nieces Addison Wheeler, Olivia Wheeler, Evelyn Wheeler and Violet Janiak will remember him fondly. Patrick was also loved by his mother-in-law, Cynthia DeForest, who will remember him with love and laughter. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as a host of family and friends he chose to call family.
A celebration of Patrick's life will be held on August 27, 2024, at 6:00PM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Saginaw, TX, and on September 22, 2024, at 2:00PM at Real Life Chapel Church in Easton, MD.
Patrick had a special liking for Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets & Pizza and loved listening to Chris Tomlin. He was a loyal fan of the Baltimore Ravens. Patrick leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Even in his death, Patrick wanted to help others by donating his body to UT Southwestern's Willed Body Program. In his own words "I won't need it anymore, hopefully it will help someone else".
