Patrick (“Pops”) Strobel passed away on November 24, 2023. Born in Los Angeles, CA, on March 17, 1948 to parents Richard and Betty, he had five siblings, Ronnie, Debbie, Mary (“Ribsy”) Elizabeth, John, and Katie. Patrick graduated from Loyola High School before migrating to San Diego to attend SDSU. He had a long successful career with Sears in the loss protection department, interrogating many suspected thieves and regularly purchasing appliances for loved ones at the Sears annual “friends and family” discount sale. He was a lover of golf, family, and friends, an expert Monday Night Football host, a professional beach house deck painter, a master photographer, a proud dad and hole-in-one maker, and was highly skilled at barbequing a pizza. Patrick was a genuine, patient, funny, generous man. He is remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Patrick is survived by his fiancé, Kathy, sons Grant, Garrick, and Jason, daughters-in-law Alyssa and Holly, and grandchildren, Jack, Ben, and Allison. He was pre-deceased by his brother Ronnie and his sister Debbie. 

A celebration of life will be held at Coronado Golf Course on December 19, 2023 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be graciously made to Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego (https://thefirstteesandiego.o…).
