Pat was my second cousin. Over the years I had seen him or talked with him in LA when I was there for vacation or work. I good story I have is when I was a kid in the eighties I saw him in an episode of MASH where he died and I was so hysterical that my dad had to call him to talk to me. He was a kind soul and even took a train from LA to St. Louis to attend my wedding. I will miss him and I look forward to running into him on tv shows and movies that I never knew he was in “hey that’s Pat!”
I first met my cousin Pat in 1983, when we were on vacation in New York. I remember my daughters Clare and Anna were so well behaved Pat didn’t quite know what to make of them! I followed his acting career with great interest. A life well lived, a great man. Rest in peace Pat xx
My Dad, Kevin Sarsfield, is Pats cousin. I met him a very long time ago when I was 7 years old and we visited New York. We stayed with both his Mother and his Aunt Maggie, who were my grandad's sister's. I remember him to be a lovely man, who involved us children, in the adult conversation. He give us a Yankees baseball which he signed and my dad still has to this day,40 years later. Rest in peace Pat, a life well lived.
Pat was my mother, Norah Sarsfields’ cousin. We all loved to hear tales of our stateside relative who’d been in the movies! Sending deepest sympathy to his family, from the Hebburn Sarsfield’s xxx

When I was about 12 years old I was in a dance recital at a local church . When our group of dancers finished our routine they called each of is forward individually for a bow. As I stepped forward there was Pat and about 6 of his buddies standing up, clapping, whistling, and cheering for me.
