In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Help with End of Life Expenses.

Background

While we grieve the loss of our dad, we were fortunate to find enough cash in his apartment to cover the funeral home expenses. This unexpected blessing eases some of the burden during this difficult time.

However, there are still additional costs associated with laying him to rest.

Here's where your kindness could truly make a difference:

* Supporting Local Services: We plan to hold a local memorial service for family and friends to celebrate Dad's life.
* Helping Family Travel: Some family members will be traveling from out of town, specifically from New Orleans, to attend the services.
* Ensuring a Smooth Transition: There will be costs associated with emptying and cleaning his apartment, as well as accountant fees to manage his financial affairs.
* Unexpected Expenses: As with any situation, unforeseen costs may arise. There are bills and additional fees popping up already.

Any contribution, big or small, will be deeply appreciated. It will allow us to honor Dad's memory while focusing on grieving and supporting each other.

Thank you for your love and understanding.
