I will always remember my “Uncle Patty” fondly.  He always treated me kindly when I was young, and always surprised me with the dryness of his wit as an adult.  He seemed uniquely ahead of his time, the college man, the photographer, the technology dabbler, and even the fellow willing to wander away from New York to see what else might work… or to wander awol from the military to go visit his oldest brother!  And that’s just one story that helped me understand that he and my dad shared a bond as brothers that would be tough to top.  Same can be said of his love and devotion to all family.
Cheers and love to the last of our first American generation.
