Patrick's obituary
Patrick J. Cloutier, a cherished member of the DeCordova Bend Community in Granbury, TX, and a beloved native of Broadalbin, New York, passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on May 20, 1949, Patrick lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Cloutier, and three daughters: Monica Armstrong of Broadalbin, NY, and her husband Art, along with grandsons Zachary and Bennett; Danielle Cook of Frisco, TX, and her husband Roy, and their children Parker and Caedyn Frey, as well as Carter and Kaitlyn Cook; and Jennifer Lahr and her daughter Ana Wells. Patrick is also survived by his sister, Yvonne Van Genderen, and her husband David, both of Broadalbin, NY.
Patrick was preceded in death by his loving wife of 23 years, Jane Cloutier, his sister, Michelle Cloutier, and his parents, Francis Cloutier and Beverlee and John Chapman. Known for his warm heart and infectious smile, he brought people together with his kindness and generosity.
An avid golfer and passionate baseball fan, Patrick found joy on the golf course, where he spent many afternoons perfecting his swing and sharing laughs with friends. He also loved watching and discussing baseball, a sport that brought him immense happiness. His passion for travel allowed him to explore new destinations and create lasting memories with his family.
A man of strong values, Patrick took pride in his family, always putting them first. His legacy of love and joy will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in his honor. Patrick particularly supported causes for veterans and cancer charities, as both he and his late wife faced long battles with illness.
Patrick's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, a lasting reminder of the love and joy he brought into their lives.
