I was about 8 and Pat would have been 10. I clearly remember him corrupting me by sneaking into the file that had all of the old school photos. He grabbed a pen from my Dad's desk and marked up oldest sister Terry's picture with blackened teeth, devil horns, mustache etc. Then we refiled the picture in another file. That picture probably wasn't discovered for 5 or 6 years but Pat had given me the gift of self-expression. For months afterwards I went to work defacing photos ( I drew a lot of Hitler mustaches)  on all the miscreants from Watergate on the pages of the Washington Post. Dad for the most part was OK with it so thanks Pat, for that gift.
