Patricia's obituary
Sandy, UT-Patricia Tucker Thomas (Mimi) - Loving widow of Jay Thomas, Mother of Christian Tucker, The late Van Travers Tucker, and The late Alex Tucker, and Grandmother of Aidiah And Cash Tucker - passed away on September 14, 2022, due to injuries sustained from a tragic accident that occurred on August 14, 2022.
She was born on May 29, 1949, in San Diego, California, but was raised in Garden City, New York. She was born to Robert J. Rohrbach and Jeanne C. Rohrbach (H. Currie), and is the sister of Mimi and Bob Rohrbach.
Pat's life was defined by her love for her family, teaching, donations to charity, and her love for life.
She was a caring daughter, sister, widow, mother, and grandmother. She demonstrated and taught love, kindness, acceptance, humility, empathy, had an open mind to all views of life, and had a sense of humor that would light up the world of anyone who had the privilege of meeting her.
She spent 43 years of her life guiding children along the path to success in her career as a teacher in elementary education. She worked her way up to becoming an Assistant Principal for a few years, but returned to her passion of teaching until she retired.
Her love for the outdoors led her to the mountains of Utah where she enjoyed skiing, hiking, and just being outside.
She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered always by her family and friends.
In continuing with her selflessness, Pat donated her body to the University of Utah School of Medicine, to assist with new developments of medical practices.
Pat's wishes were to not have any funeral services, but to be remembered in your hearts.
Instead of flowers, please consider donating to any elementary schools with less than fortunate kids and refugee programs.
