It was at school in Columbia Falls where she met the love of her life, her husband, Morton. Morton and Patricia lived in Limestone, Maine, Connecticut and several other places while making a family and working. Patricia drove a school bus for a total of 55 years. She drove for MSAD#37 for 44 of those years before retiring in June of 2022. Patricia always spoke of the kids on the bus as “her Kids.”
She loved raking blueberries with a lunch box that always contained either Potted meat and cucumbers sandwiches, canned spaghetti, or fried egg sandwiches. She loved spending time with her family whether it was shopping, sitting around a fire, watching the Red Soxs, coaching grammar school softball, gardening, mowing her lawn, and doing puzzles.
Patricia was an amazing teacher of all life skills she could share. She always stressed that anyone could do anything they set their mind to and would be right there elbows deep in the projects like building houses to shingling roofs, no job was too large. Her love was unconditional and never questioned.
