My thoughts and prayers to the family. I'd like to say she was a great person to have in our lives growing up. Being a bus driver is not an easy job. Teachie made it look easy though. She was respected by all that road on her bus. She was in control of our lives away from home. She got us there and back safely whether it was to and from school or a field trip or to and from away games in sports. I remember a night in Blue Hill for a Basketball game that turned into a venture getting home. It was light rain/snow and a hill not far from the gym had iced up. I and her son Danny, was in my vehicle heading home. Her son Danny and I had managed to get to the bottom of the hill but knew the Bus was coming and it wasn't going to be getting any better. As one would expect, My car wasn't going back up the hill. So Danny and I got up the hill on foot to warn the bus "Teachie" was driving, of the danger ahead. Thank god we were able to. There were several cars off the road. Her many years driving earned her the love and respect for more than 1 generation. She will be remembered by many and thoughts of her will live on. I could tell several stories from the 7 years growing up as a school child. Her son and I are best of friends. Thank you Trish, and Danny for being in my life! If you read this Danny and Sheri know that I love you!! RIP Teachie
