Patricia L. Sylvia, a long-time resident of Cape Cod gained her angel wings on December 8, 2022. She was born in Boston in 1934 and lived a long happy life. Pat died peacefully in the company of her daughter Gail at her residence in Orleans. She was very grounded in her faith and will rest peacefully knowing she will join her loving husband, Michael F. Sylvia in heaven.

Pat's love transformed the lives of everyone she encountered. Her strong personality was unforgettable and she certainly had her own way of doing things. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, share herself and evoke that same energy in each person she met. Pat worked for many years at the New England Telephone company where she gained many lifelong friends.

Once retired, she split her time between Cape Cod and Florida where she spent innumerable hours on the beach joined by her husband Mike, her family, and the many friends who became like a second family to her. Not a day went by when Pat didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her.

Pat leaves behind countless memories to her children, Gail, Paula, Michael and his wife Susan, and her son Nolan, her grandchildren, Liam, Stephanie, and her husband Daryl, her great-grandchildren Gemmalyn and Eleanora, and her brother Paul. She leaves memories with all who she's touched throughout her life.

A mass is being held at Our Lady of the Cape in Brewster, MA on 12/15/22 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Pat Sylvia to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
