Patricia (Pat) Rose Starkey (Brooks) ended her lifetime tour of duty on the 8th of January 2021 at the Stockoff Nursing Home, Fredericktown, MO. Pat, who was 74 years old, died due to natural causes. Pat was born in Tooele, UT to Alpine Brooks (Dunlap) and Alvin Brooks on the 10th of December 1946. Pat was survived by her daughters Valarie, Lori and her son Jeffrey, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat was preceeded in death by her husband Jesse Calvin, and daughters Tammy Lynn and Sonya Marie. Pat lived in Marquand, MO most of her life where she served many functions, such as City Alderman, school bus driver, nurses aide and volunteer Emergency Medical Services with the Marquand Volunteer Fire Department.

In lieu of a funeral service in these turbulent times, a Celebration of Life will be conducted in Marquand, MO on the 24th of April 2021. After the Celebration of Life, Pat’s ashes will be spread at a place of her prior choosing.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shriners Childrens Hospital’s. Pat’s love of “The King” Elvis Presley and her quirky sense of humor will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew her.
