Patricia  Ann Southard-Grant(Pat) 70, of Carlton Ave in Mexico, ME passed away peacefully at home due to long term illnesses, on April 29, 2022.

Pat was born in Portland ME, on September 20, 1951, the daughter of the late Joseph M. Grant and Alice R. Grant. She attended Portland schools. Pat loved being a homemaker and enjoyed being surrounded by her many children, grandchildren, and late husband John C. Southard Sr.

Pat sadly leaves behind her sisters Helen Hodgkin and husband Paul of Limington, Winfred Durrah and husband Donald Durrah of Zephyrhills FL. Pat also leaves behind 11 children, between biological, step and adopted. Marie Michaud and husband Richard of Mexico ME, Donald(Charlie) Staples and wife Betsy of Portland ME, Tammy Gillespie of Saco ME, Jennifer Southard-Rockwell and husband Kevin of Mexico ME, Kendra Southard of Biddeford ME, Patricia Southard of Portland ME, John, Harold, and Courtney Southard all of Portland ME, and Mary Haskell of Biddeford ME. Pat has also joined her sisters Donna Lee Bennett, Barbara Knight, Joseph M. Grant Jr. and Michael J. Grant Sr. Pat also leaves behind many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren that loved her very much, and a very dear friends of 44 years Teresa Moore Haycock, Cheryl Forest, and Louise Moore-Shaw. Pat was an amazing woman. She was well liked and loved by so many people. Her smile was contagious and lit up the whole room.. Pat was a mom to more than the 11 children she raised. Everyone called her MA. She always made sure everyone was cared for. Pats services will be held at….. if you wish to come celebrate the wonderful life Pat lived.
