Patricia Lindsley Sessums
July 28, 1954 – November 5, 2025
Patricia Lindsley Sessums passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love and cherished memories.
Born on July 28, 1954, Patricia was a proud graduate of Leake Academy. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her work at the Bank of Morton, Clear River Construction Company, and Mississippi Paving.
Patricia lived life with joy and enthusiasm. She loved fishing, shopping, Mississippi State, sports, jewelry, and art. A breast cancer survivor, she embodied strength, grace, and resilience in all she faced.
She is survived by her mother, Ernestine Lindsley of Carthage, MS; her sister, Tina Presley of Franklin, TN; and her two children — son William Lindsley Sessums (Candace) of Gulfport, MS and daughter Crystal Scott (Michael) of Brandon, MS.
Known affectionately as “Sweet Pea,” Patricia was a grandmother to her six grandchildren: Walker, Mary Lindsley, London, Mason, Jack, and Marley. She also held a special place in her heart for her “bonus” daughters, Heather and Jennifer, and her bonus grandchildren: Noah, Luke, Juliet, and Eleanora.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Roger Lindsley; her brother, Robert (Bobby) Lindsley; and her beloved companion, Mike Smith.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Patricia’s lifelong friends — Gloria “Angel on Earth”, Betty “Betty Boop”, and Nancy “Sweet Nancy” — for their years of love, care, and friendship.
Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 7, at the Old Lena Methodist Church in Lena, MS, with visitation at 2:30 p.m. and services at 3:00 p.m.
