Patricia's obituary
A successful businesswoman, Pat spent her entire career in the hospitality field and was extremely respected by her peers. She was consistently promoted and received multiple awards. During her illness, co-workers (both current and former) visited her on nearly a daily basis.
A lifetime Nebraska Cornhusker fan, Pat enjoyed college football more than almost anything. On Saturdays during the Fall, Pat would routinely watch four to five games a day – and record multiple others. Pat also adored dogs – throughout her life, Pat adopted rescue dogs and enjoyed the comfort and joy that each one provided.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Ron Pryor. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Peterson. She is survived by her siblings: Collen Swanson; Mary Peterson; Deborah Peterson; Terry Peterson; Sean Peterson; and Jacqueline Peterson. She is also survived by Ron’s siblings: Elizabeth Hartnett; Billye Hartman; Rex Henry Pryor; and Benny Pryor, as well as Ron’s mom, Eva Pryor.
Donations in Pat’s honor can be made to Paws in the City, an all-volunteer, no-kill animal shelter located in North Texas. Donations can be mailed to 3824 Cedar Springs Road, Suite 360, Dallas, Texas 75219 or made online at www.pawsinthecity.org/donate.
Pat’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Arlington Memorial Hospital for the excellent care and kindness given to Pat during her illness. We would also like to thank all of our family and friends for your thoughtfulness and compassion. May God keep Pat safe and sound and in the palm of His hand.
