Patricia Lynn "Tricia" Preston, 46, passed away on May 19, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. Born on January 8, 1979, in Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center, Tricia brought warmth and laughter to every place she called home.

Tricia is survived by her daughter Denise Preston; sons Matthew Preston and Robert Preston. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Doyle Preston, mother Lori Preston, nana Elaine Smith, and nephew Ty Preston.

Tricia dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Medical Assistant at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Her commitment and excellence in the field were recognized repeatedly—she was honored with the Medical Assistant of the Year award multiple times. Her colleagues and patients alike knew her as someone who brought both skill and heart to her work.

Outside of her career, Tricia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved camping under open skies, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, and spending cherished time with friends and family. Her sense of humor was sharp and unforgettable—her sarcasm often delivered with a twinkle in her eye—and she had a gift for making people feel welcome wherever she went. Those who knew her will remember her as funny, loving, and inviting.
