Patricia 'Patti' Lynn Willett-Bratz was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 12, 1966, to the union of Eva Jo Willett and Leo Edward Willett. She was revered as a high-spirited and loving woman with boundless positivity. She grew up in Somerset, Texas with her seven siblings: Dickey, Julie, David, Billy, Leo, Timmy, and Theresa, of whom she was the youngest of nine children. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1992 and soon after made the move to Austin with her oldest son, Chase. It was there in Austin where she had her middle and youngest sons, Connor and Chance. Patti cherished reuniting with friends and family to celebrate holidays and milestones. She also had a deep love for nature and being around water, whether at the river, beach or lake.  Above all, she was a committed mother who always put family and others first. 

Her career at the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool began in 1994, where she was a devoted employee for over 30 years. Patti was a pillar of excellence at the Pool and made great strides in the Claims Department. She always put her members first and, in doing so, unintentionally created what is now known as the 'Patti Principle.' It was during her high school years in Somerset when she first met her now husband, Steve Bratz. In 2017, Steve and Patti reconnected, nearly 40 years after their first date. They were married in an intimate ceremony on June 14, 2023, and shared two loving years of marriage. She immediately embraced his children: Stephanie and Robby, Stephen and Kelli, Kaylin and Ash, and Ty as well as their grandchildren: Trey, Maddy, and Jordan. 

Patti passed away on October 1, 2025 in their La Vernia home, peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her husband, three sons, seven siblings, four step-children, three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
