Patricia Ann Moss Olson Kitchen Waters was born in Henderson, Kentucky on June 18, 1945. She lived in Henderson through high school. She entered the School for Officers’ Training in Atlanta, Georgia in 1964 where she received her commission as a Lieutenant in the Salvation Army in 1966. She would serve in many locations around the Southern Territory and briefly in the Central Territory. She married Glenn Olson in 1966 and had two children, Michelle and Bruce. While working for The Salvation Army, she touched the lives of countless people especially children. She married Klon Kitchen in 1995 and moved to San Antonio, Texas. While living there she continued her work for The Salvation Army by heading a program, Scattered Sites, a housing program for homeless single parents. She continued her life’s work of changing the lives of men, women, and children. After 20 years of marriage to, and then the devastating loss of Klon, she again found love and married Michael Waters in 2020. While enjoying retired life in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, she remained a dedicated member of her local corps in Conway, South Carolina. She played in the band and sang in the songsters. After a long battle with cancer, she joined her Heavenly Father on January 22, 2024. Her parents, Willis and Lucille Moss and her brothers Felix Griffin and Rick Moss preceded her in death. Glenn Olson and Klon Kitchen also preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Michael Waters, her children Michelle Bennett and Bruce Olson, and her children of the heart Chris Bennett, Naomi Powers, Teresa Olson , Klon Kitchen II, Klondina Kitchen, Pam Roman, and Michelle Leonard.  Patricia is also survived by her numerous grandchildren Kailey Bennett, Karsten Bennett, Kealan Bennett, Hunter Olson, Seth Tena, Nicholas Olson, Judah Powers, Isaiah Powers,  Klon Kitchen III, Kris Kitchen and Kameron Kitchen, Stephanie Hunter, Cynthia Lee, and Heather Deuel. Her great-grandchildren are Olivia Tena, Lillian Bennett, Caleb Riddle, Allison Riddle, Ava Kitchen, Ethan Kitchen, Olivia Kitchen, Norah Kitchen, Davis Kitchen, Korban Kitchen, Liam Englund, Raeleigh Anglin, Charleigh Kitchen, Ezra Kitchen, Tessa Lee, Gage Lee, Andrew Durham, Peyton Hunter,Keegan Hunter, Lilly Hunter, Willow Hunter, Kellan Lee, Rayne Deuel, Gunner Lee, Hayley Hunter, Zeke Hunter, and Isabella Deuel.  Great-great-grandchildren include Logan Lee, Tidas Lee, Parker Lee, and Sadie Lee.
