Patricia's obituary
Patti Mooney, 66, of Kingston passed away on April 20, 2026 surrounded by her daughters and sisters.
Patti graduated from Duxbury High School and Mount Ida College. She began as a social worker, but her primary career was as a printer at her parent’s company Quick Turn Around and then Millennium Printing Corp. After growing up in Duxbury, she raised her family in Medford and on the South Shore. Later, she bought a house of her own in Kingston. Patti was an artist, making so many of her daughters’ dresses, beautiful embroidery scenes, crocheting blankets and hats, and her Storey shells. She loved Shipyard Lane, old cemeteries, reading about American history, paddle boarding, traveling with her daughters and siblings, and taking her step-grandkids on adventures.
Patti is survived by her parents, Betty and John Stevens of Duxbury, her sisters Donna Lawson of West Bridgewater, Elizabeth Dwyer of Hanson, Kathleen Ferry of Hanson, Susan Farish of Smyrna, GA, and her brother William Stevens of Arlington, VA, her daughter Kerin and husband Tim Healy of Hanover and her beloved step-grandchildren Livy and Ledger, and her daughter Danielle and husband Adam Carey-Mooney of Bridgewater as well as in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She is preceded in death by her children’s father Danny Mooney and her beloved brother-in-law Keith Sugarman.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 2 at Pilgrim Church at 404 Washington St. in Duxbury.
Donations can be made in Patti’s name to Camp Wing and the Duxbury Stockade (http://crossroadsma.org) where her kids spent so many wonderful summers and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (http://dana-farber.org/) who took such good care of her the last few months.
