Pat's obituary
It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia "Pat" Moline on January 10, 2025. Born June 30, 1953, Patricia lived a life full of love, joy, and remarkable accomplishments.
Patricia was better known as Pat, a name that perfectly captured her cheerful, infectious personality. Her playful spirit and warmth made her a beacon of light in everyone's lives. Lighting up every room she entered, she was always the life of the party, eager to welcome everyone with open arms. Pat shared invaluable lessons with those around her, teaching us about unconditional love, forgiveness, and the importance of not taking life too seriously. She showed us the beauty of accepting people for who they are.
She is remembered lovingly by her husband, Richard "Moe" Moline, whom she married at the Fern Grotto in Hawaii in 1981. She is also survived by her sister Linda Jones; her sons Nicholas (wife Barbara), and David "Mo" (wife Rhiannon), as well as her daughter, Stephanie Post (husband Ken). Pat was preceded in death by her father, Charles Carr, her mother, Fay Carr, her brother, James Carr, and her sister, Judith Colbert.
Pat's unwavering spirit took her on many adventures throughout her life. In 1993, she moved to Leesburg, VA, then to Arlington, TX in 1998, and finally settled down in Florence, AZ in 2020. She retired from American Airlines in 2018, having left a lasting impact on all those she encountered in her career.
An avid traveler, Pat enjoyed visiting locations around the world, especially via cruising, where she enjoyed meeting new people, and seeing interesting places. She was a ballroom dancer, regularly teaching others to dance along with her husband Moe. She also enjoyed crafting, movies, and playing board and card games with her friends and family.
Pat was a devout Christian, attending the Desert Rock Church and a long time member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). She was a member of the Coolidge-Florence Elks Lodge where she was involved in numerous activities. These organizations were sources of joy and fulfillment in her life, and Pat spent countless hours contributing to her community through them.
Pat's greatest accomplishments were her family and her relationship with Jesus Christ. She embraced motherhood with all her heart and her kids and grandchildren are a testament to her love and dedication. She believed in fostering love and generosity, instilling these values in her children.
The legacy of Pat's kindness and generosity will continue to live on through her family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
