Patricia Marie's obituary
Patricia Marie Clampet of Purcellville, VA passed away on January 14, 2022, after a long difficult battle with COPD. Patricia was surrounded by her family at home and passed peacefully.
Patricia was born on July 19, 1947 in Selma, Alabama. She lived in Germany and relocated to numerous overseas and U.S. locations growing up in a military family with four sisters and two brothers. After graduating from Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA in 1966, she worked and enjoyed learning art. She first married in 1970 and had four children of her own in the Northern Virginia area.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Lt. Col. Thomas S. Blood and Frances A. Mills Blood, two infant siblings, her brother Thomas Blood Jr and her nephew Barry Scarborough. She is survived by: her husband of 38 years, Rick Clampet; her siblings: Susan Scarborough, Judith (Donald) Tillett, Linda (John) Wohlford, Debora (Wayne) Patten and Peter Blood; her children whom she shared with former spouse, William L. Shepherd: Jennifer Shepherd, Stephanie (Enrique) Vera, Neal Shepherd and Allison Shepherd; as well as 5 grandchildren: Hannah Chaikin, Abigail Chaikin, Darius Jones, Sofia Shepherd, and Mikala Shepherd. Patricia also leaves behind her beloved beagle, Gracie.
