Patricia Maley, 66, of Chalfont, PA, passed away on July 13, 2024.

Patricia was born on October 21, 1957 to Naomi and William Maley in [city of birth]. After graduating from Neshaminy High School in [high school graduation year], she went on to study Political science at Trenton State University and then went on to earn her Masters Degree in Social Work at Marywood University in 1997.

During this time, she began her social work career at The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency. She served the community in many roles at Children and Youth, most notably as a gifted family therapist / supervisor and ultimately the Assistant Director of the agency. She retired in (...) after 20 years of service to the County of Bucks.   After retiring from the County, she worked as a therapist at Ivyland Counseling Center in Warminster until May of 2024.  Pat was a brilliant clinician who changed the lives of many people in her personal life and career.  She was coined "the therapist's therapist".  

Pat loved to golf, travel with friends, dote on her "grandchildren of choice" Sophia and Madison ,as well as, caring for her beloved dog Hudson.  She enjoyed painting, photography, crocheting and took up many hobbies throughout her life.   Patricia was predeceased by her father William Maley, mother Naomi Maley, and her brother William Maley. She is survived by her family: Aunt Elsie Leopold, Cousin Leann Mason/husband Tom Mason, and their son Thomas Mason.  

She will be deeply missed by Nicole and Joe DuMond and their daughters Sophia and Madison DuMond who se considered family. In addition to, her lifelong friend Marsha /husband Bill Young and family . She will also be missed by her close family friends, Evelyn Miller and Barbara Gross. She will be deeply missed and was loved by many. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
