Trisha's obituary

Patricia Marie Kolbo, known affectionately as Trisha by her loved ones, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 76, in Federal Way, Washington. Born on January 19, 1950, in Seattle, Washington, Trisha was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and faith-filled heart were the cornerstones of her existence.
Trisha was the beloved wife of Jack Kolbo, with whom she shared a life full of joy and companionship. She was a loving mother to daughters Sherry Zaugg and Annie Smith, who were her pride and joy. Trisha's legacy continued to flourish through her cherished grandchildren, Scarlett Aveiro (Heather), Samantha Pendergress, Ashlynn Smith, and Lane Glasser, as well as her three great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable happiness.
She was the sister of Ben Estes and was preceded in death by her mother, Claudia Estes Stevens, her father, Peter Estes, and her brother, Steven Estes. Trisha's family was the centerpiece of her world, and she nurtured each relationship with love and care.
Her Christian faith was a guiding force in her life, providing her with strength and solace throughout her journey. Trisha lived her beliefs through her actions, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear to those in need.
A lover of culture and the arts, Trisha had a particular fondness for hula dancing, a passion that complemented her love for traveling to Hawaii. Her interests were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and her appreciation for the beauty of the world around her.
Trisha will be remembered as a loving, gentle, and faith-filled woman. Her kindness touched the lives of many, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. Her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering love are the gifts she has left behind, and they will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
