Patricia Kay Newman, known to her friends as Patty, passed away at the age of 69 on August 19, 2025, in Sacramento, California following post-surgical complications.

Patty was born February 26, 1956 in Chico, California. Patty spent her career working in medical imaging for many hospitals and clinics in Northern California and the Phoenix, Arizona area. She earned numerous advanced technical certifications in radiology.

Patty enjoyed traveling, gardening, hiking and the outdoors, and spending time with family.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Jean Newman. She is survived by her children Larissa Roles and Jared Rasmussen as well as her grandchildren Lacey Foster, Cameron Foster and Trinity Foster, and Josiah Rasmussen and her great grandchildren James and Lydia Foster.

A private service for family and friends will be held in the future.
