Williams, Patricia Jo, known affectionately as Patty to her friends and family, departed this life on April 15, 2024, at age 77.  

Patty was born November 30, 1946, in Red Oak, Iowa and later became a cherished member of the Houston community. After graduating from Waltrip High School in 1964, she attended the University of Houston where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in education. She dedicated over two decades to the noble profession of teaching, imparting wisdom and knowledge to her students in the subject of English. Her strong faith led her to serve as Minister of Education for Cypress Creek Christian Church. She touched many lives through her spiritual guidance.

She found joy in the melodies of the piano and the beauty of her rose garden. Patty also had a passion for poetry and short stories and was a talented writer. Her adventurous spirit was reflected in her love of travel, Las Vegas being a favorite destination among many journeys she undertook with family and friends. Her memory will be cherished and will live on in the hearts of many.  

Patty was preceded in death by her husband Ernie. Survived by daughter Laurie DesAutels, and son-in-law Jacob; sister, Nancy Paschke and brother-in-law Jay; nephew Brian Klander; niece Christi Salinas; great nephew, nieces and many close friends.

 

A service celebrating Patty’s life will be held on May 13th, 11:00 am.
