Background
Patty suffered from heart issues for most of her life. In 1958 at the early age of 10 years old, Deborah Heart and Lung Center came to her rescue. Three open heart surgeries and a mechanical valve later, Patty went on to live 23 wonderful years of life. Not only is this hospital from our very first home town and where Patty was born, but it is always in need of funds to continue to help cardiac patients without financial means.
