Patricia Anne LeBoeuf Huggins, 84, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2022. Her devoted faith in God gave her strength throughout her lifetime and was evident in her love for all who were part of her life. She is joyously reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth Saville Huggins.

Pat was born January 22, 1938, in New Orleans, LA, and enjoyed her childhood years in Metairie growing up with her dear sisters and close extended family. She received her R.N. in nursing from Charity Hospital School of Nursing. She was a veteran of the United States Navy where she met the love of her life, Ken, when he was a patient of hers. She worked in various settings as a nurse early in her life, but found her true joy in her role as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known as Mere to her grandchildren and Nanan to her nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth S. Huggins; her son, Christopher K. Huggins; her parents, Louis and Isabelle LeBoeuf; and her sister, Lois Jourdan.

She is survived by two children, Michael Huggins of Mobile, AL, and Susan (David) Nabors of Birmingham, AL, and great-grandson Carson Huggins. She is also survived by grandchildren Joanna Huggins, Samantha Huggins, Brittany Guidry, Meghan Huggins, John David Nabors, Jr., Elizabeth Nabors, William Nabors, and Trenton Huggins; and by her sister, Mary LeBoeuf (spouse Fred Woessner).

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
