Met Pat when I moved to Cary Il in 2015 and became a member of the Cary Area Writers Group. She was a really talented writer. I was always fascinated by, and interestef in her extensive historical knowledge. She was a very nice person and a most supportive fellow-writer. I was so very saddened by her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, and all of her family.

For a school project once, I interviewed people to compile a book of life lessons. The advice my Grandma gave was priceless and I smile thinking about it to this day: "Don't waste calories on anything that isn't chocolate."

Pat, daughter Keely, and granddaughter Jamie enjoying dinner along the Grand Canal during a trip to Italy. My grandma, Pat, had a tradition of taking each of her grandchildren to Europe when they turned 13!
