Patricia "Miss Patti" Hood, 74, of Elk Grove, CA, passed away on July 29, 2022.

Patti was born on May 29, 1948 to Alfred and Anna Webb in Ellensburg, Washington. After graduating from The Dalles High School in 1966, she went on to join the Salvation Army to become an officer. While attending officer training school in 1968 in San Francisco, she met Walter Hood, and they wed in 1969, going on to have one child, Krystal Goodchild and another adopted through love, Kathleen Cunningham. Patti decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all she met in her life. Patti excelled at propping up family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting family and friends through difficult times or watching her daughters marry the loves of their lives, Michael Cunningham and Randall Goodchild, to meeting her first grandchild, Kayleigh Goodchild, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Patti was a passionate Disney fan, seamstress, elephant lover and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her chair crocheting baby blankets for the next generation of family. We will miss her greatly. Patti was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Anna Webb, siblings Richard Webb, Mary Fisk, Harry Webb, and Betty Greene. She is survived by her husband Walter Hood, children, Michael and Kathleen Cunningham, Randall and Krystal Goodchild, granddaughter, Kayleigh Goodchild, siblings, Raymond Webb, Esther Webb, William Webb, and Robert Webb, and many nieces and nephews and family adopted through love. 

Patti wishes were for the family to host a party in her honor. The family will have a celebration of life.
