Today is mom's birthday. She would have been 21 again. I still haven't found a way to realize all this, it's easier if I don't. How does your mind accept your favorite person in the world isn't in the world anymore. I can't share a memory because my life is one big memory with her in it. From being 4 years old and her sitting on my bed scratching my bed to help me sleep, to us driving around Springfield and laughing and being silly as adults. Idk. I'm sure someday this will all hit me, but for now my heart had this wall made of steel and stone around it that won't allow me to. I think it's good because I'm afraid I can't handle it. Happy Birthday momma, I love you with all my heart you pain in the ass ❤💞😔

Some of my most precious, hysterical, and fun memories were from when I was in high school with Patti. Throughout the years, I thought of her hundreds of times and am regretting very much that I didn't try harder to find Patti. She is in my heart forever, such a beautiful soul. I'm so sorry for your loss.

In all my memories of my little cousin Patti, from our childhood to when our own kids were grown, she seems to be standing in a ray of sunlight - or maybe it was coming from within her!  I think of her now smiling and resting in peace and light.
