Patricia (Feid) Heinz, 63, of Hopkinton, New Hampshire passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 after losing a courageous battle with lung cancer, while surrounded by her loving family at her home in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was the wife of Timothy T. Heinz and they were happily married for forty-two years.

Born in Quantico, Virginia on March 25, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Major Gordon Feid (USMC, Ret.) and Lucille (Gagne) Feid.

Patricia was a devoted mother and educator. Pat generously served the students of New Hampshire in her 37-year career as an Elementary School teacher. She started her career at Whitefield Elementary, followed by several years at Bethlehem Elementary, and later retired from the Maple Street School in Hopkinton. She dedicated her life to education and touched the lives of countless amounts of children over the years. Pat’s devotion to the education of children was recognized with many awards and honors including Teacher of the Year.

During her retirement, she had the opportunity to travel to many places and countries with her friends and family. After spending many winters in Myrtle Beach, she with her husband, decided to move full-time to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Her friendly and caring demeanor allowed her to quickly meet and befriend many neighbors in their new Barefoot Landing community. She also spent much time enjoying hobbies such as walking her golden retriever, Cooper on the beach, knitting, quilting and basket weaving.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Timothy Heinz; daughters Jennifer White of Harvest, Alabama and Brianne (Jessica) Heinz of Conway, South Carolina; son Matthew Heinz (Kim Bresse) of Laconia, New Hampshire; brother Dale (Joan) Feid of Haverhill, New Hampshire; nephew Brandon (Andrea) Feid of Plainfield, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Micaela White and Keegan White of Harvest, Alabama, and great niece Alieke Feid of Plainfield, New Hampshire.

Her memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 US-17, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. There will also be a memorial service in New Hampshire at a later date this Summer.
