My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Patricia again.
Pat was one of the kindest, most energetic and determined, creative and dynamic people I have ever known. She did amazing and unflagging work for and with grandparents who were unable to see their grandkids, bringing sympathy and understanding, help, and community.
What was the most fun I ever had with Pat? Oh my...must be her birthday stripper! Or being interviewed by and interviewing her for Toastmasters projects. Or going to her book signing in Carmel. Or watching her roast Carl for his 50th anniversary at Toastmasters where she gave a monologue from the Vagina Monologues!!! HAHAHA! ORRR It was probably when she came to see me as a Woman of Whimsy back before we were even friends. Oh, Pat, how you'll be missed. I'm just not ready to say goodbye... Love Carrie
Pat has been such an anchor for me, here in Monterey, with her love, humor, sass, and wisdom, it will take me a few days to round up photos, and thoughts, to share with you the family, and friends.
