Patricia's obituary

Mrs. Patricia Gail Hager, 62, of Ridgeville SC entered an eternal rest Thursday, August 10th 2023, at her home surrounded by family.

Born August 5th, 1961, in Madison West Virginia, she was the daughter of Nellie Pritchard and the late Evert Pritchard. She was a culinary artist and had a passion for baking and cake decorating since the young age of 16. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and quilting. Christmas was her favorite holiday at which she would bake cookies, generously give gifts, and decorate her home magically. Most of all, she loved her family and was proud to be a “mamaw”.

She is survived by: Her husband, Raymond Brian Hager of Ridgeville; mother Nellie Pritchard of Danville WV; daughters Jessica Blakesley and husband Chance Blakesley, Stephanie Frasier and husband Michael Frasier; grand children Lilyahna Blakesley, Mason Proveaux, Everlynn Frasier, and Warren Frasier; Siblings Leroy Pritchard and wife Denise Pritchard (caregiver), Karen Black, and Corey Pritchard. Also a large host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends.

Memorial services will be held in both South Carolina, and West Virginia. From the words of Patricia, “I want a joyful celebration full of happy people, gathered around laughing and telling stores. I don’t want people to be sad. Celebrate me!”

South Carolina: Services will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, August the 19th 2023, at Brookhaven Fellowship; 285 Temple rd, Ridgeville SC. Fellowship and dinner to follow.

West Virginia: Memorial celebration will begin at 3:00pm, Sunday, September the 3rd 2023, at the “Old Homeplace” on Cox’s fork rd in Danville WV. Located across from 3750 cox’s fork rd, Danville WV. Family and friends are welcomed to drop-in anytime, and are asked to bring a side dish if able.

Patricia asked “Please don’t buy a bunch of flowers.” Instead, consider making a donation to her memorial tree fund. You may do so during services, or at the created “GoFundMe” page: https://gofund.me/ca6e2ada
