Patricia's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Goold, a beloved mother, daughter, friend, and community servant, who departed this world on August 8, 2024, at the age of 80.

Born on July 7, 1944, Patricia was the daughter of Boise and Bertha Eisenhauer. She spent her early years in San Antonio, Texas, where she attended Incarnate Word High School, graduating in 1962. With a spirit that radiated warmth and generosity, Patricia embarked on an early career in retail before moving to Dallas, where she pursued new opportunities in the airline industry that would take her around the globe.

Family was everything to Patricia. She cherished her role as a mother to her sons, Steven and John, and took great pride in becoming a grandmother. Despite her husband Jim’s passing in 2014 she celebrated their 42 years of marriage every day. She is survived by her loving son, Steven, his wife Maxey, and their son Owen, who filled her life with joy and laughter.

Patricia’s commitment to service extended beyond her family. She volunteered with several organizations including the Delicious Dishes, who served at Ronald McDonald House, and the North Dallas Handbell Choir. While she obtained the Gold Award in Girl Scouts she stayed dedicated to scouting through nearly four decades in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, participating long past her son's achievement of the rank of Eagle. Her passion for scouting deeply influenced her life as she empowered young minds and adult leaders through her role on staff for training at various levels, inspiring countless families in her community.

Patricia’s kindness, laughter, and spirit will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know her. She was a beacon of love, guiding those around her with a steady hand and an open heart. Pat loved the beach, playing games with friends and family, traveling, and spending time with those close to her. Her legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched in her remarkable journey. The family kindly asks that any donations be made in Patricia’s name to Circle Ten Council with Scouts of America.

Rest in peace, dear Patricia. Your love and legacy will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort.
