Obituary for Patricia Kay Frickenschmidt

Patricia “Trish” Kay Frickenschmidt passed away on February 24, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born on June 8, 1971, to James Ray and Sharon Frickenschmidt. In her early years, Trish’s family moved to Arkansas, where she spent much of her childhood before eventually relocating to Florida with her mother. She made her home in LaBelle and the surrounding areas, where she lived out the remainder of her life.

Trish was a talented automotive painter by trade until she retired to care for her beloved husband, David, in his later years. She was an active member of her local American Legion and VFW, dedicating much of her time to volunteering and supporting veterans’ causes—something she was deeply passionate about.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon; her father, James; and her husband, David Morrow. Trish is survived by her special friend, Bob Bott; her brother, Paul Frickenschmidt of Texas; her niece, Heather Goff, and husband, Justin, of Booneville, Arkansas; her great-nieces, Torie, Mallorie, and Lydia; her great-nephew, Jude; and her sister-in-law, Tracy Jones.

At this time, the family has no plans for a formal service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Trish’s memory may make donations to the American Legion or their local VFW.

Trish will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
