It all started in 1969 when I moved to Hillsdale and met Pat who lived across the street,  It seemed to be friendship right away and I have the best of memories.  Though we were only across the street from each other we were on the phone for hours and back in the day there was no call waiting so if you called one of us you got a busy signal for hours.

Then babies started coming and we became stay at home moms and life was easy.  I had one child Pat had 3 and off we would go on errands.  Back in the day they didn't have fancy car seats most cars didnt have seat belts so we would put all the kids in the back seat off we would go.  We had some good adventures during those days. And if you wanted to talk on the phone you had to wait till Sunday after 6 so that it was only 10 cents a minute.  My how things have changed how did we ever do it,

A few years later Pat moved back east to PA.  My husband and I went out to visit when they settled in and soon we bought a summer home in PA and so the circle of life goes on.

Pat I will miss you forever
