Patricia E.Long, 79yo of Duncan,SC

Patricia was born May 15, 1944 and passed on Sunday August 13, 2023. Patricia was a wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Patricia lost her battle to Alzheimer’s Disease just 4 months after her spouse. 

Predeceased by her beloved spouse, Garland D. Long, Mother, Inez Clark Father, Lewis Clark (2) Sisters Kaye Parris, Ann Cox and (1) Brother Joseph Clark. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan M. Reid and Allison L. Fowler, as well as her four granddaughters, Mallory Councell, Jordan Reid, Chelsea Fowler, and Abby Morton, (1)  Sister Margaret Ross and seven great-grandchildren. 

Patricia was a vibrant and loving person, despite the challenges of dementia and the heartache of losing her sweetheart. She had a love for babies and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. Her spirit was unmatched, and she never lost her warmth, kindness, or infectious laughter. She taught us the importance of loving one another and fighting each every day like it’s your last. 

Private graveside service & Urn Burial will take place at Popular Springs Baptist Church, Moore, SC at a later date.
