It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Patricia “Pat” Earlene (Marsh) Hughes, age 78, on June 13, 2025, at her home in Chino, California.
Pat brought so much light and love into our lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She lived a life full of kindness, strength, adventure, and unforgettable moments. Pat left behind a legacy of love and family.
Pat was born October 14, 1946, in Tacoma, Washington to Edward Marsh and Mary Lou (Shapland) Eastham. She attended Beggs High School. Pat had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She had aspirations of becoming a singer before she married.
On November 23, 1964, Pat married Charlie Boling in Brighton, Colorado and lived the challenging life of being a cowboy’s wife. The couple had four sons before the marriage ended in August 1976. Pat settled in California and eventually went to work at Pacific Scientific where she met the love of her life, Will Oudmayer. The two became a couple and resided in the Chino, California area. Pat and Will shared over 37 years of adventures together, traveling to many places in the United States and abroad. In March 2025, Pat’s health declined due to Alzheimer’s, and she was placed on hospice care. Will proved his unwavering love and devotion when Pat needed him the most. With Pat’s children living out of state, it was Will who lovingly took on the role of sole caregiver. Though hospice workers provided support, it was Will who spent those long days and nights by Pat’s side. He made sure she had everything she needed – or wanted – to feel comforted and cared for in her final weeks.
Pat’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind her beloved Will, who made their home a place of love, comfort, and devotion; her sons, Clark (Tammy) Boling of Wilburton, OK; Daniel (Aimee) Boling of Crowder, OK; Clint (Angela) Boling of Thibodaux, LA; Keith Boling of Savanna, OK; and step-son Erick Oudmayer of Huntington Beach, CA. She leaves her grandchildren Charles Cook of Durant, OK; Brittany Powell of Stigler, OK; Triston Boling of Wilburton, OK; Shaylin Ramos Ascencio of Oklahoma City, OK; Tatum Keel and Joshua Luke Boling of Thibodaux, LA; Isabel Boling of Stuart, OK; Bella Morton of Crowder, OK; Jada Oudmayer of Huntington Beach, CA; and her great-grandchildren Ayden and Addison Martin of Eufaula, OK; Colt, Eli, Laramie, and Paisley Goff of Stigler, OK. She leaves her brothers Paul (Maudina) Marsh of Gans, OK; Edward Marsh II and sisters Alpha Bray of Panama, OK; Lucinda Kates of Bokoshe, OK; and Mona Marsh. Among those mourning her loss is her faithful feline companion, Freddie (the freeloader), who kept her company and brought joy to her days. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will forever carry her love and memory with them.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Edward Marsh and Mary Lou Eastham, her brother Dewey Marsh, and sister Margaret Cody.
Pat will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and love she shared so generously with all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
At Pat’s request, no formal services will be held. The family encourages those who knew her to honor her memory in their own way.
