Trisha was my wonderful, adorable, lovingly irascible, office manager, confidant, and most importantly... FRIEND. We shared 14+ years of our life together. I remember her advising me, chastising me and loving me as a friend. I recall when she told me about meeting a wonderful man named Dennis but she wanted me to meet him and approve before she married him. What a wonderful couple. When they retired and moved to Oregon I felt that I had lost a big sister, although she would undoubtedly correct my adjective "big." When Dennis passed shortly after Trisha I knew she'd be waiting at the Pearly Gates tapping her watch and demanding, "What took you so long?", before they were wrapped in each others arms and love again. Trisha was a blessing to all around her and while I am saddened at her departure, I am eternally grateful for her love, her friendship and her support. God bless you Trisha!
I only was able to meet Patricia via our online weekly bible study with her daughter and my best friend, Angela. Despite not having had the honor of meeting her in person, we were all still like part of her family. Patricia had a way about her that you could feel how much she cared and loved you - even through a video based bible study. I always miss her presence, intelligence, insight and care at our studies. As I watch Angela miss her mom every minute, I only wish I could take that pain away. But I know how blessed her and her family are to have had such a beautiful person in their lives. My condolences to everyone. I am so sorry I cannot be there today.
